The RS68 System is in active service throughout the world and has been proven to be a safe, reliable and extremely simple Remote Initiation System. The transmitter operates in the VHF band and provides 0.5 - 10 watts (depending on version) of radio frequency from an internal rechargeable power supply. The receivers exhibit excellent sensitivity levels to permit operating at typical ranges of up to 5 Km. The extremely low current consumption ensures unattended operation of many days and the high energy output circuit allows the use of demolition firing cable lengths of up to 100 metres.
