A non-magnetic mine prodder designed to locate mines buried to a depth of up to 250mm. The prodder is primarily intended for situations where a magnetic device might activate a mine, but it is equally suitable for use when magnetic fields are not considered important. 

The mine prodder conforms to the STANAG 2897 Annex C standard for contact use, which is a necessary requirement for all non-magnetic EOD equipment.
